Re: nv3500 question

i'm pretty sure '94 models didn't have a NV3500. most likely a borg-warner t-5.

swapping from this to the NV3500 will solve your problem because the slave cylinder is inside the bellhousing on the newer trannies

Re: nv3500 question

this trans looks to be a nv3500 cuz i have had a few s10s with the t5 and this trans looks nothing like it.my slave cyl is mounted on the front of trans on pass side and theres a metal shield bolted into frame to cover it from being bottomed out. something ive never seen before ne ideas?

Re: nv3500 question

Just put new motor mounts and tranny mounts in. That lifted mine up so it barely touched then I found a freshly paved road and drug it flat with the frame.

Re: nv3500 question

I had the same issue with my 95 S10... I was told it wouldn't lay out because of the bell housing so I never bagged it just lowered it and shattered the shit out of the housing in Allentown PA...

Re: nv3500 question

i bet it is the m50 trans. my 95 has that with the little bump on the pass side. i hate it cause when i was static i ripped out my slave cylinder and it really sucked ass.

i do want to find a nv3500, so if anybody knows what years they come in it would help...
