It's a 98 Sonoma with the 4.3 i havnt cut the inner fenders cause in still deciding how the best way is but it lays pretty hard in the back and has drop spindals added to the front bit just lays inner fender. Any feedback or advice is appreciated

Re: My noma
I'll be there as well.
Just one thing at a time man, start relocating then cutting and it'll get way down. You'll have to mess with the blower box, that'll be the hardest part |

Re: My noma
It's an auto and thanks guys. I'm stoked for the show. It's only been painted for about 2 months so I'm finding it difficult to talk myself into hacking the body. But have some plates coming from SD and it needs some rims so bad

Re: My noma
I have a couple pictures of were I mounted the ECU and the abs. well you can see in the my thread were i mounted the abs. ide rather keep it than scrap it and its far enough out of the way that I could still lay. I havent looked into the brake booster issue yet. I was pretty sure I would clear it,
the ECU was moved and and forward on the trailer fender, and then the battery went to the box of the truck. give me a minute and ill pop up the pics i got |

Re: My noma
Sweet. On a side not I don't have a pressure switch on the truck and ordering one from SD but what's the best size relay and wire gauge will handle the power best? And I feel this is a super stupid question but can I use a spliced to run off the compressor like a loop or is that a bad idea? Sorry if that's too nube a ? Just curious

Re: My noma
instead of a pressure switch i ordered an air gauge an fiberglassed it into my dash bezel & hooked up a toggle switch..

Re: My noma
I use an 8 gauge power wire for the relay. Tap into an ignition wire so it only runs when the truck is on and hook a toggle to that wire then hook that to the pressure switch then go from the press switch to the relay then just ground it and plug the comp in

Re: My noma
I try and not use regular auto relays for compressors. I like to use the Stinger 80amp relays. They are easy to wire and 1 can run 2 comps. As for the pressure switch, you can run a square D from lowes. Its the same square D that SD sells. They are bulky and ugly but yu can hide them under the truck like I didn on mine.
