Re: My bagged and bodydropped 92 s10 blazer thread

thanks guys i have a idea for the back. i was thinkn about fabbin some bag bracket like jason's for beihnd the axlebut putting them in front and cutting my upper bag bracket off thats on the now and cutting it so the frame slides onto it somewhere before it levels off on to be the top of the c-notch. this pic should give you an idea of what i mean...somewhere in there maybe lower and maybe higher. that way i could leave me lower bars where they are and then just have to make upper bars and get one of jason;s diff bracket. what do you think? also here is what im talking about for the lower brackets............sorry for the pics i suck at using paint but this might give you an idea...and i alreadt know i will have to gusset the shit of everything

Re: My bagged and bodydropped 92 s10 blazer thread

if you run your upper link bars outwards towards that part in the frame where it goes up for the notch (like in the pic you posted) then your upper link bars are gonna have to be really short which would probably cause a pretty big pinion angle change, i would mount the bars to the that cross member in front of the notches and use one of jasons differential brackets. by looking at the pictures i think that youll be fine if you mount the bags on the lower arms as long as the bag doesnt rub the frame when compressed

if the control arms are not bottoming out anywhere and the tie rod ends have clearence then the only other thing would be the upper bag cups

check the lower control arm mounts, and the tie rods. if the back is on the ground, the front crossmember will not lay though, because the frame flaatens out at a lower point then the front crossmember. lift the rear a bit to get the back frame of f the ground and see if the crossmember lays...but if the firewall back section is already on the ground, the crossmember won't be.
