Re: My '93 Dime Project - aka "The Cookie Cutter"

This came to mind.

Went browsin in some project threads to get some more ideas. You could do a remote mount and get fancy with the valves. Stole these pics from Project Lawn Gnome thread page 10/11.

Just some idea's to get you goin... lookin great so far!

Re: My '93 Dime Project - aka "The Cookie Cutter"

its pretty cool how creative/unique ppl can be with their setups. I like that idea but it would be a slower pancake up with 1 intake line.

Re: My '93 Dime Project - aka "The Cookie Cutter"

yup, cuz having it angled like that creates a stress spot, rounding it spreads the stress out

on my blazer my pockets are 90'd. How much of a round out do you need to prevent that?

Re: My '93 Dime Project - aka "The Cookie Cutter"

you have a welder? if so just bend up and weld a 1/4" piece of round stock all the way around your spring pockets and fill in those corners a bit when ya add the reinforcement material. With all that material allready cut out in the corners.. its a game of filling it back in a little bit now.

thanks! hey question bout the switchbox... i had a light blue wire left over (after wiring up the ground, power, and the gray wire for an alarm which i dont have) and the avs guy said something bout wiring it up to a remote. well i have an avs door popper kit with 12 channels. could that left over wire go into one of the open channels and use it w/ the same remote to pop my doors?

Re: My '93 Dime Project - aka "The Cookie Cutter"

update...

ok so i got my fittings finally and everything wired up and working. jus a few minor changes and everything's all good... but then i re-ran a hot wire from my pressure switch through the firewall (jus to clean things up a bit) and now my switches that control the fill valves have no power going to them. i still have power running to the dump valves cause i can hear them "click". someone care to explain to me what in the world is going on lol ?? i checked the fuse and all the connections and everything is fine... i'm completely lost
