Mostly correct but the fastback still had a trunk lid (much shorter). Hatches didn't come into play until the 70's.

I think it would kinda cool on an older truck with more square shape to it...IMO the jagged kustom body work doesn't flow well with this body style truck

Not sure, but I know Texas doesn't have a law about the wheels sticking out so far past the fender/flare. I think that's what I found out at least, or it was 4" and the cops didn't care anyways. There's a lot of vehicles down here with wheels sticking way out from the body.
