should just wait until the first show of the season and then post actual pics you took of hacked rides. thats the original idea of the original thread, and its a good thread, but then you get all the people posting random pics of stuff they dont like from the web. and then it becomes a fail

^^^ this. Sometimes some actually hacked stuff that is seen IN PERSON gets posted, then this thread can actually be used by new people as a tool. maybe there needs to be an "ugly" thread and an "unsafe" thread

Haha yea that is andys truck when we first got it and No we did not do that. Lol. We went to indiana to get the truck... It was hacked to pieces out back. We ended up putting in a bolt in step notch from SD and andy put on a kp 6 link to do away with the mono leafs. Ps.. Kp link thanks to ridinlow for selling it lol

the chain was supposed to be a "air-gate" type setup..
the bed rail is cut to fit the toolbox in, the toolbox was put in so the harbor freight compressor wouldnt show....if you look close the airline isnt hooked up on either side..thats becuz unscrewing the fitting from the bag is his "dump" valve
and the other end is unhooked so he could close the toolbox lol he drives with it open so airline can hook to compressor
the notchs arent welded all the way in
the bridge bars are from a small interstate sign that they "came across"
and the bottom plate for bag is booger welded to differential cover...it was hideous to say the least..

Notice in the picture at top right where that hole is in bed.... the kid before my took an old air bag, cut it in half and self tapped (with self tapper screw) it either through bed of rear of cab.. dont remember for sure but he also cut hole in back of cab for wires to run through BUT the holes were not even close to lining up...lol
