Reason I say is, that looks like a friend of mine's (Justin Tackett) old truck, now that guy at mountain yamaha in town drives it to work every day.... assuming we are talking about the same truck...

if it is, I remeber when he first started driving it (notice I didnt say finish it) instead of anykind of link set-up, or a panhard bar, he had a ratchet strap to locate the rear-end... nor did he have any type of air up front, just cut-up factory springs

he sure drove around wal-mart parking lot like a badass with that truck....

im sure it wouldnt be a bad setup to just play with if he just finished up those notches, put at least 1 crossmember between the notches. and either raise, notch, or make a new gastank crossmember and throw some shocks on there.

Not the same truck, this truck is from Pikeville. The bed off this truck is now on the guy at Mountain Yamaha's truck.

and i agree, but have you read the thread lately? alot of it was cleaned up and went over with a good coat of chassis saver... thats just how it was when i was taking the pictures. some things got completly changed since then.

doesn't make much sense to me. way to much money and way to much work for something to look so shi**y. the only reason i can come up with is he's towing something over 10,000 lbs. but even then why not lift it and just reinforce a huge drop hitch? different strokes for different folks i guess

I hate to admit it but this was my first bagged truck.....74 chevy luv it was all done parked outside my army barracks in the grass on the weekends(done mostly to keep us out of trouble,lol) we just ran a 220 extention cord from the dreyer out the window for the welder and plugged extention cords in for the drill and the grinder......
this was done by some VERY inexperienced guys,just havin fun,drinkin beer......

try not to hate too much...... I have learned a LOT since then.....

the great part was that I drove this truck for 3 yrs in it's hacked and half ass condition.... with no major problems..... then I blew up that tired old 4 banger and parked it...... i still own it and after I am finished with "project white-out"
I will tear it down and HAVE it rebuilt.....prob by BBT Fab

the white truck was fixed by MIC....i seen the pics somewhere...they said the guy that did the work to the owners truck just notches the frame with the bed on....
