art of noise show in AZ today...never thought id see so much hacked shit. there were some nice rides and worth2 bucks to go but 90% on the underconstruction trucks were hack jobs..one for example this guy had fuel tank in rear with pump lines pintched beween notch and axle..just makes me wanna take more time on my truck so it doesnt looked shitty

that was the flat black old chevy...i checked that out. it was so shitty. they was doin live pinstripin on it when i was there....pinion angle was so fvcked on it. it looked ok but the hack job in the bed was rediculous. it was by all the race cars and vmx shit.

If the welds and everything was done properly I would trust it. I've seen leaf link rears done before on hot rods and see not problem with them. I think it looks like a sweet setup just not clean, but on a driver it would be cool. This is probably not show worthy to some but rat rodders build dirty shit on purpose.

is this kind of set-up able to with stand what a daily bagged driver is throwing at it? Just curious, may go with the rat rod look.

If I had a setup like that on a car it would probably be a "BAR CAR". Drive it to the bar or cruise, and feel comfortable with it. But I wouldn't put a car or truck like that on a highway and do over 70mph with it. You know what I mean?

half leaf setups ride horrible. but i have seen some that were ok looking with decent pinion angle. but the ones i have ridden in have horrible wheel hop and are really bouncy. i've seen a few on dune buggy's

The belt on the tank may be just for the rat rod look. Was it bolted underneath, and the belt was just for show? If it was, I kinda like that look.

I wish yall could see the bottom of the truck I just bought...nothing is welded on the bottom, and I broke a shock mount on the way home doing a burnout. haha
