installing dominator 2600s

ive heard you have to ground the cups down to take off the hard edge so it doesnt rub on the dominator 2500s, but im going to be replacing my re8s in the rear for some dominator 2600s, was wondering if i need to do the same thing on my mounting brackets for them? thanks,

Re: installing dominator 2600s

I would assume so because it is a bigger bag with more width. Wouldn't hurt.

no im going to 2b6s/re8s to dom 2500/2600, i konw the front is going to improve, and for the rear im not sure yet, havent driven it yet, im having to deal with a leaky gas tank right now, pavement + gastank + movement = hole in tank , but i think its gets just a tad bit more lift in the rear, the bag is just a lil bit smaller in diameter than my re8s
