How to delete heater core?

I have upgraded wheel size and now it's time to say goodbye to my blower box on my 1st gen. What is the correct way to plum the lines after removal? I figured if I don't have a blower I don't need heat. Can you just go from the engine to the radiator? Or is there something I'm missing here?

Re: How to delete heater core?

All you haveto do is take the 2 heater hoses off the heater core and connect them together. Then if you want you can take the heater core out, but ive left them in.

Why not just use plugs in the intake and water pump....it won't hurt anything.

Re: How to delete heater core?

^^ this way

The coolant does not need to circulate, why have hose that could potentially leak, and it looks cleaner.

Thanks for all you all's help. I went to autozone and bought a pack of radiator plugs for around 5 bucks. Heater core is gone.

Re: How to delete heater core?

Just go to autozone and ask for radiator cap off plugs. They come in a pack with different sizes. They are like 5 bucks.
