Guitar hero Switch Box!

Well I had 20 Min. to kill before a local car show so here it is haha,

Here is a sneak peek inside,

IT is a full Custom controller.

Pick a Fret for the corner you want then flick the strum bar the direction you want it to go! haha

Again this is a prototype and the final Design to come soon.

But in the Video I had only been using that guitar for less then 5 min. haha There is like no learning curve, it feels very natural.

Re: Guitar hero Switch Box!

Can you post up a schematic? Also, what are you using for relays? I want to find a lower power relay block, but haven't had any luck and don't want to run 8 30/40 amp relays.

They are small Reed relays, Very cheap

Example,

Once I get the Schematic off the napkin and onto the computer I can post it up haha.

Re: Guitar hero Switch Box!

That is pretty badass, it would be crazy if you could still control guitar hero and your switches. It would be pretty tough to get a high score while you are in the truck getting tossed around.

I was planning to Fret my own song so it can play on a big screen in the bed and as you play along you would be controlling the truck to dance to the music haha.

Like a beginers guite to switch hitting haha.

Damn, that just blows my idea of an old school Nintendo controller swithbox out of the water! Definitely post up a schematic once you get it all worked out, I'm sure that it'd be more than helpful to me with my NES controller.

Thanks man!

You know those light controllers that work to the sound music? I wonder if you could hook up the air ride controller to it and make the truck dance to the music too?

easily, just hook the power for the lights up to the relay. when the light comes on the relay is powered and boom, your truck dances to music. you could even do it to the ones that blink when base hits. lol
