Why, may I ask??? and what size port are they now?
Here are some specs for ya, to help ya out.... If you wanna run 5/8" airline, you will still get a max flow with a 3/8" Port. If you wanna run 1/2" line, you will still get max flow with a 1/4" port. If you wanna run 3/8" line, you will still get a max flow with a 1/8" port. And why couldn't you make one thread will all these questions?? |

i had 1/4" port F9000's and they were faster than my friends 1/2" port bags. you need to get some thinwall fittings from larry at innovative air suspension

any parker DOT compression fittings that reduce a large air line to a small port are 'thin wall'. Dunno bout other manufacturers, but I do know about parker.

F9000s are also available in 3/8" port, but ya, the 1/4" thinwall fittign have the same inside diameter as the 3/8 or 1/2" so I wouldnt drill em out.

To answer the drilling part of the answer, No. It is possible on the old ones with aluminum tops ( i have a set on my blazer ), but the new ones have plastic tops with brass inserts. And you would drill the brass all the way out to thread 1/2" npt.
