i wasnt being mean. just stating the facts.

i just see so many people have so many various problems with them.

i dont see how people continue to spend big bux on them.

i love my sandens. my 2 sandens fill a 5 gal tank from 120psi to 160psi in 10 seconds. almost constant air.

i made brackets from scratch for my 4.3. i wouldnt go back to 12v compressors, i would need 3 or 4 to keep up with the york. and i would have to listen to em all the time

I always hear you guys talk about topping off the oil. But how often do you actually change it completely?

Also, .. got you an opinion on the Oil Return kit for Yorks from onboardair.com ? It sounds confusing the way they describe it.

I plan on purchasing a York within a few days. It will be my first compressor ever.. so I hope I can keep it pretty trouble free.

the kit is nice but I would not want the oil and watter o re-join my fresh oil in my crank case.

I add oil about once a month about change? it has a good way of getting rid of the oil fast enough

I'm still debating on getting an EDC or just getting another 450 to make (3) of them filling my 12 gallon...i just hate the fill time on my electric comps especially with that 12 gallon. But i'm edgy about an EDC (broken brackets, oiling it...)

And on a side note to whore up your thread Doug, i dont think my truck is gonna make it to the show this weekend, unless i trailor it I REALLY want this thing driveable lol

same here my EDC bracket broke a few days ago. and I think I have a bad front ball joint.. so inly if I get that all fixed will I make it up.. damn this sucks.

ok now back on topic lol

your (3) 450's will fill a 12 gal in 1 min 46 sec. from 110-145.
4 of them will do it in 1 min 19 sec.
NOTE: 4 450's will be 80 AMPS
But 5 450's at 100 amp will fill 12 gal 110-145 in 1 min 1 sec and will cost almost $1,000 so pretty close to a EDC if you ask me. and for the reliability ...well worth it

a EDC will do the same in 1 min 3 sec . at IDLE or 35 sec at 4,000RPM

just to give you something to compare.
