DC7500 Compressor?
i have had a DC7500 for a little while know. I need to know if you can mount them on their side or not? It seems like you could, i just wanted to know if this would have any short or long term effects on the compressor? Thanks

Re: DC7500 Compressor?
So I just confirmed that the compressor is an oil-less one, so I'm assuming that its fine to mount it on its side. If anyone has a different idea please chim in.....

Re: DC7500 Compressor?
I had mine mounted on its side man, worked fine with no problems.
Be sure to use some stout bolts, grade 8 or something. Damn thing is heavy as hell. |

Re: DC7500 Compressor?
I was going to say, if its oil-less, you should be able to mount it any which way.

Re: DC7500 Compressor?
I think they only rate them at 150psi too.
I never ran mine past that, but I know they will build way more than 150psi |

Re: DC7500 Compressor?
Other than it being loud, my dc7500 runs circles around viars

Re: DC7500 Compressor?
Yeah, my viair is slow as hell, and it's brand new. It's never even pumped a tank of air.
So glad it's just a backup and that I have my Edc. I Might remove the viair and hook up the dc7500 in it's place, mine is just sitting in the garage, it's nearly brand new. |
