Couple questions

1. When i ride low and i'm on a road that's not level (Leans one way) my truck wants to lean with it. I don't have shocks right now. Would that fix it? Or is it due to the fact i have no sway bar?

2.I've seen different ways of mounting shocks.. what is the best way to position rear shocks? I've noticed on some stock trucks the left shock is behind the axle but the right is in front of the axle. What's the deal?

Re: Couple questions

if you have a 4 valve setup the air will flow between the bags when cornering, etc

If you can run shocks in the straightest up and down position, that is best. one on either side of the axle makes no difference

Re: Couple questions

I have eight valves. Each bag has it's own fill and dump. It seems like it's just the weight of my truck compresses the bag due to the low pressure when cornering and when sitting on a road that leans. I was thinking about buying a new sway bar and bushings for the front since i don't have one and put on shocks front/rear. I just never noticed other bagged trucks lean unless they were shock-less.

Re: Couple questions

going to price all new stuff soon. the old sway bar would not loosen so i just cut it and took it off when i bagged it originally. i got good side to side but that has faded and i would rather have a good ride and not get as good sides. what shocks do most people run on bagged s tens?

Re: Couple questions

A sway bar will help a lot. When I put my sway bar back on my truck it made a world of difference.

Re: Couple questions

Just with cornering or did it help keep it level even driving straight? Cause the problem isn't so much the turning but i hate driving on a road that is slanted and my truck leans like it has flat tires.

both more or so less. After I put it back on I didnt have to have as much pressure difference between the driver and passenger side of the truck.
