Re: anyone running the street scraper?
Don't buy from airbagit/AIM if you want a reliable ride...I'd go custom or LRD, I have the LRD link setup and love it.

Re: anyone running the street scraper?
I've seen a few street scrapers. All seemed to work fine. However I wouldn't go out and buy one over other choices.

Re: anyone running the street scraper?
yea just go on the search bar and type in "airbagit" and read up, you might find 2 people out of the thousands on here that will say anything good about them and i believe there on payroll, all there products are junk, i remember a guy on here saying his link bars were different lengths and another saying there shocks blew out after a few weeks

Re: anyone running the street scraper?
Well for the first time a couple weeks ago i got to see some of aims work. I will say in my own opinion.. There stuff is not very well thought through.. Some of there welds look good.. And some of there welds look just splatteree on there. The setup i looked at was for a fullsize. I would not buy anything from them. IF i did.. I would have to go back over there welds and fix them. The setup i seen.. The guy said he ran it for 2 weeks and one of the link tabs broke off. And it looked brand new still and you could clearly see where it had broke off... I got some pics of the setup but not sure if you can tell how bad the welds are

Re: anyone running the street scraper?
I had the bolt on backhalf street scraper 5 link on my old s10.
As far as the backhalf/suspension was fine, welds were good, and it rode really good and got good lift. Just a heads up, the only thing I would NEVER own from aim again, is the RED valve manifold they sell. They are spool valves, and are junk. They sent me a replacement newer style valve manifold and it was good, never had an issue with it sticking etc. I also like the PUMA compressors they sell, although they draw a ton of damn amps, they work good. |

Anyone seen their new ad bashing s10forum for "talking so much smack"
Joe Marrow, if you read this, your public outrages at some of the "claims" to your faulty products is proof enough for me to not be a customer. You get what you pay for. Go to harbor freight or go to sears or go to snapon? Some things you can go cheaper on others you need to build it right for others sake, don't endanger others people's children. I appreciate it! |

Re: anyone running the street scraper?
I have one right now and I hate it. Parts of it will arrive bent and my bolt on frame rails are 1/4 inch off so one side is lower in the rear and the bag brackets are welded a 1/2 inch different on each rail. Do not Buy! It's been about 10 months and I have a strong feeling that by the end of the year I will have all my airbagit junk where it belongs, in a landfill.
