Re: AIM at it again.............Slam'R
he was talking about this on ssm a while back, that if they didnt want to sell to him he would make his own to compete. Im all for competition but this dude is a dick, he has a different bag everytime someone else makes a new one. I really dotn care if his parts ever become a good quality, its tatics like this IMO are what make people hate most things with air suspension. Just childish bullshit

yes,it was hopped a few times a WEEK,it was turned up that high by a jackass friend, without me knowing. and no,it never really flew, about 4-6 inches off the ground. all 1/2" lines w/ gc450 fills/danz dumps. |

Do none of the companies that shAIM is copying have trademarks or patents on their products? It seems like pretty clear infringement to me.

:crickets chirp: Seriously, if you're "designing" a product that looks exactly like another product and the name is the same with maybe a letter or two changed, then it seems obvious to me that you're trying to use the reputation of company A to benefit your company via misleading consumers to purchase your product. |

BUT, a lot of the beloved companies on this forum do the exact SAME thing. The clearest example would be the SS mirrors they ALL try to pass off as Street Scenes. |

I don't know, I'm sure there are better legal minds on the site than me. As far as I knew if the product was similar and the name was similar there is a potential for confusion, and a lawsuit.

Re: AIM at it again.............Slam'R
you gonna advertise on s10forum? theres not any poin in that Joe,no one listen to anything, and only talk down on AIM. stick to SSM
--------------------------------------------- I am most definitely sticking with SSM... no question about it. But I had the same issues with negative postings on SSM, and SSM and the Members have stepped up!! I have the same fish to fry at S10 Forum, and it should be interesting following the posts, and you can believe that I will ALWAYS POINT the S10 Forum Members BACK TO SSM. It was a tough climb with SSM, but cooler heads prevailed at the end of the day. I sincerely thank you and all of the members of SSM for allowing my presence on the Forum. I think that Kris and Bob are going to Co-Sponser project trucks with me and we are going to take it to a higher level. Thank you for your post, but I am a glutton for punishment and I am going to let them try to punish me... Joe Joe Morrow thought id share why not right... |

Re: AIM at it again.............Slam'R
Quote:
I do not copy anyone. Go back to Truckin Magazine for the past 15 years to 1994 and see who copied who. S10 Forum just beats me up all day, all nite, and they DO NOT ALLOW me to reply in defense. How fair is that? Firestone copied Goodyears bag, Continental copied Firestones bag, Slam Specialties copied their bag from years of prior molding to alumunim tops. 22 years, I am still in business, must be doing something right. Send your postings to S10 Forum, ask them why they are afraid to let me post. It is because they are a CLOSED society, and afraid of having the members being able to make up their own minds from ACTUAL FACTS instead of hiding behind their keyboards. SSM on the other hand, gives me an opportunity to defend myself and gives the opportunity to their members to sort fact from keyboard fiction. Thank you for your posting, but if you really want to learn the facts, then ask S10 Forum what they are AFRAID of.. the truth? How can it be the truth when only one side is heard. Joe Morrow haha afraid? im sure the members of this forum would run him out and he is just pissed that we will not remove there hate filled replies.. To a certain extent, I do believe that this forum has their mind set on certain companies and that most people bash on AIM. I have bought from AIM, suicidedoors, Krid Dye Fabrications and others and in past and I've never had any issues with them. Had a chance to talk to Joe about sponsorship for one of our shows and he generously donated and when I ordered a few fittings from them and sent me the wrong ones, they sent me the right one for free and free shipping and did not want the others back...I think that was great customer service. I've mentioned this in another thread before...I've never had issues with AIM as far as products and customer service and if I need something that I need and they carry same items, better price, I'd shop at AIM again... I've had much worse customer service from some of the "preferred" companies in here before... Just my 2 cents |

Re: AIM at it again.............Slam'R
thats funny.
you go to their site and click on the about us sction. It has more in it telling people about how other companies and forums are bad and they are better, to simply put it. Seems like he's a little butt hurt over something. Any companies about us section should be about who they are and what they can do for you not all about the other guys and internet forums? I don't even read the mags anymore. I used to get every issue of mini trucking when i was younger, now its just a waste. Its nothing but ads, not just from aim but countless companies. They should have limit how many pages were for features and how many for ad space. But people are greedy. Last edited by truedetailer : 10-16-2009 at 12:16 AM. |
