Here are a few of my Truck. 98 S10 BYC upper and lowers, Slam RS72. 2" top cup offset 3/4"
None of you guys have any problems with your frames cutting up so high? I even see some cut one of the upper control arm mounts right off. I cut that from the frame, then heated and flared my spring pocket out as much as i can, trimmed some of the pocket, then flared more. I have alot more pics if anyone needs them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: 2600 224c 2b7 slam rs72 es72 hs72 bag s10 front install pics
All i did with mine was measure over 1/2" from the slots then drill 2 holes where the bag mounts. Then i needed to oblong the hole for the fitting.

Re: 2600 224c 2b7 slam rs72 es72 hs72 bag s10 front install pics
this is an old thread, but i got a few questions.(couldnt get anybody to reply a whole lot on another one and then i found this one.) i got the bolt in special from sd that came with the airlift 2b6 bags. i decided to go with the slam re-7's instead. will my cups work on those? is it nessecary to offset the cups?

Do you have to offset the 2600 (re-7) 1/2" as pictured below to fit in the front spring pocket? I've heard yes and no

Re: 2600 224c 2b7 slam rs72 es72 hs72 bag s10 front install pics
i had t ooffset my re-7.
but i didnt have to hack up the cups though. the sd cups already have slotted bolt holes and slotted air line hole. so it slides over perfectly that half inch you need. |
