Here are a few of my Truck. 98 S10 BYC upper and lowers, Slam RS72. 2" top cup offset 3/4"

None of you guys have any problems with your frames cutting up so high? I even see some cut one of the upper control arm mounts right off. I cut that from the frame, then heated and flared my spring pocket out as much as i can, trimmed some of the pocket, then flared more. I have alot more pics if anyone needs them.

the last picture shows my tie rod notch.. but you can see the bag in there.. I cut alittle to much.. so I ended up making a new plate.. Looks like it would if was factory.. just little stronger

its a Slam RE 72... or maybe rs .. i can't rerember.. i know its the 7 series

the first 2 pics are with my stock arms... i cut just alittle more with my ART arms

i had cups made.. offset 1/2'' ... i just offset the whole cup. i dind't move any bolt holes or antying.. it is 2.5'' tall to

All i did with mine was measure over 1/2" from the slots then drill 2 holes where the bag mounts. Then i needed to oblong the hole for the fitting.

this is an old thread, but i got a few questions.(couldnt get anybody to reply a whole lot on another one and then i found this one.) i got the bolt in special from sd that came with the airlift 2b6 bags. i decided to go with the slam re-7's instead. will my cups work on those? is it nessecary to offset the cups?

techniquly you would have to put more pressur in the driver side of the truck to eliminate the lean. if the whole truck was say 60 psi all the way around then the truck would still lean but if you did like 5 more psi on the driver rear and driver front then it would sit even

Question Re: 2600 224c 2b7 slam rs72 es72 hs72 bag s10 front install pics

Do you have to offset the 2600 (re-7) 1/2" as pictured below to fit in the front spring pocket? I've heard yes and no

i had t ooffset my re-7.

but i didnt have to hack up the cups though.

the sd cups already have slotted bolt holes and slotted air line hole.

so it slides over perfectly that half inch you need.

glad to see you searched due to the old thread. but you're gonna have to give the wheel size to get a detailed answer because different trucks have different "stock" wheels and tires.

Re: 2600 224c 2b7 slam rs72 es72 hs72 bag s10 front install pics

Well I was going through some of my old folders and found these pics I took about 5 years ago. Originally was going to run the 2B7 bags like pictured, but after hearing stories I switched to the contitech 2600. Bags were offset also. Though the truck has never seen the road yet...

The one top corner was rounded more also along with a quick weld to the rear lip.

And somewhat back together with the contitech bags...

With stock control arms your going to need to dehump them to lay out. Even if you do not want to lay out you still might need to trim them a little because my driver side bag rubs my lower control arm in one small place. I'm getting ready to dehump mine as soon as i get time, to eliminate this problem.
