For anyone who cares,I have power too the V8 in the 1988 Blazer,just need power to the ignition switch for a turnover test,then its on to finish wiring and then fuel plumbing!!!
Jeff,no worries,matter fact its better this way,I should have my gas bottle for my welder this week!!!

woot. yeah, my gate needs alot of work. we were young and inexperienced and warped the hell outta the gate when we did the handle, so it took alot of filler to get it lookin right. the box area wasn't bad... but honestly, i need to take the whole gate down to bare metal and start over with the filler...

sounds like a summer project to me. so, i might not have you do it till schools up in may.

New balljoint today,got the amp/speakers hooked up,makes my "classic rock" sound great!
Not nearly as loud as Phil,but Im already deaf!

yup, those visonik subs are great for the "natural" bass sound. they were great, buuuut, just not loud enough for me.

Kindas hard to see the colors,but its like a tabasco red and jet black,looks good,looks like a color combo I'm gonna go with.

Got my new welder so of coarse I had to play with it:
Got some body work done

Not a bad fit considering I cut that peice off the 4 door!
