so im traded the mud truck off for a stereo on wheels. its a 1993 s10 needing paint and front glass. its a 2.8 5 speed full kicker system. total i will have in this truck after title and lic 700 bucks. and ya it has all the body panels and stuff on the truck now. just josh got me a front glass and grill???

The guy I bought Blazer #4 from is loading it down with all his S-10 parts so.....once I take inventory I will respond back.

I seen that S-10 on the list, it looked like they just cut the front fender off halfway, what was up with that?
I have a lower valance, but it is from a 4x4 so it has two little slots cut out for the tow hooks, but it's yours if you want it.

ya man ill take it. i just ordered a core support this one is bent. the guy before him cut the fender off and stripped the metal off. he traded a full size chevy truck for it then started fixing it. chris couldnt fit in the thing and his wife didnt want it so he put it up for sale. im bout to go mess with it a bit ill snap some pix and postem up

it had the seat and stuff in it full int untouched till i got it home and tore it apart tryin to see what speakers was in it. and they are def gettin replaced with 4 6.5s in the doors i think and for the alt thing i may have a slight trick up my sleave for that one

I also have one of those round bar grills for the 82-90 style support.

I would take the kit off, but that is me, I hate those kits! There was a guy awhile back in Findlay that was selling a whole kit like that for $100 on Craigslist, but that was awhile back.

Hell I have two extra sets of seats, about 8 door panels , three center consoles, glove box doors and all kinds of crap, if I don't have it I would be surprised!

Well I'm used to nothing smaller then a 4.3 so the 2.8 5 speed isn't cuttin it for me. And the kit is going as with them wheels if I can replace them with something. I'm tryn to get avset of buckets right now

i aint to sure bout the tires once i switch wheels ima clean the tires and wheels up and checkem over. my driveway is a muddy mess right now so i cant tell to be honest. id bet on the tires being weather cracked from sitting for so long. the truck sat for a few years. also can i ask ya to drag the parts along with ya to the next meet and ill grabbem there and buy ya lunch or someshit lol also i may need to ask ya a few questions bout v8 swaps hehe

found a front windshield for 50 bucks finally and got me some free 4x6s for the dash. soon as i get everything rewired and the glass in. then ill just need the parts from josh and a free afternoon and itll be driveable

finally got the kit off minor rust. im goin to order new rockers and cab corners. they arnt junk yet but not great. i threw 2 of the ralleys off the 86 s10 and 2 other ralleys i had. so now its got 205/65r15s and 275/60r15s. i kinda like it. ima drop the back down 2 inchs and let the new engine drop the front if i get it done. but heres the turd now

big thanks for josh for the hook up. i got the core support out started getting rid of the a/c fenders are off and the inners are pulled. hopefully pulling the motor by the end of the month and startin on the 350. and pulling the stereo soon

also im about 90% sure i got drop spindles and drop leafs on the truck. the front spindles really dont look stock and the rear leafs only have 2 leafs. so i think once the 350 is in ima drop the back and see how it sits maybe going a lot lower. and for a system i am thinking 2 12s and 1 1200.1 amp nice vented box and a 300.4 high amp. should be loud enuff but not to loud where i cant hear my .490 cam hehe

I am getting bumbpkiss on those numbers, the block number does not seem right to me.
Any other numbers?
I did find a head casting number 333882, you sure you have a 3338822?
But for 68-75 blocks, those numbers do not match up for a casting number on the block.

I have tried 8970010 as a block casting number, tried ends with,begins with, exactly matches, looks like and nothing. And yes those are all real choices when searching the casting numbers!

I printed you out a 69-75 5.7 block torque specs, has head torque specs as well.
OK, through dilagent searching, is the block actually 3970010? I got you the specs for that casting number, I think you might of misread it because with that number also comes up those heads.
If so, that engine is from a truck, not a Chevelle, 5.7/350/Vin Y from 68-75 trucks.

On my printout, I got you all the casting numbers, crank/rods/cam so once you pull it apart you can look and see.

Let's say I was a little "out of it" when I posted that haha. It is a 39 not a 89. And doesn't suprise me he lied about what motor he had for me. But I found a 3970010 block used in a chevelle when I looked it. It was listed as a 290hp 350. But idk lol I don't know motor crap. I did find the heads has 74cc with 194 and 150 valves lol

Well a 68/69 Camaro 302 had that listed as a casting number, but that is not what you have. The only other ones listed for that casting number was a buick and an Olds.
Look on the front of the block by the upper cylinder deck right below the head, I believe on the left side(standing from the principle end of the block)you should have a partial VIN, if it is the block I say it is, it should have a Y listed in the partial VIN.
According to Pro-SIS its a 76cc chamber.............

I only have one extra good console, has a usable lid, but I have two other bases. Only extra intakes I have are a 3.4 Camaro intake and the 4.3 intake off the motor I just got today, LOL.
I would swap you the console for some 4.3 frame mounts............
