another new toy or two

well i got tired of paying for gas for the seirra and i was putting way to many miles on it so i got a turd civic. isnt to pretty but 30 plus mpg. and got my next project a 84 k10. ive been wantin a real 4x4 for a while now so i got 1 to redo. heres some pix.

the truck used to be a 4.1 6 cyl now its a nice 357. its a 350 bored 40 over, ported polished heads. mild cam, flat top pistons, 10.5 to 1 compresson ruffly, edelbrock rpm intake manifold, edelbrock carb, and unknown headers into true dual glass packs. the trucks loud...... really loud exhaust is going to be changed before its drove. i already ordered the 4 inch lift and im order a set of zero rate add a leafs to make it a 5 inch suspention and rockin the 33s for a little bit. then im adding a body lift and bushwacker cut outs and running 38s. after the tickets start coming ill sell it like i normally do

Re: another new toy or two

No, that's my V8 in my S10 Blazer now, I pulled the motor from that truck and then scraped it. Your engine is an older motor, you've got different valve covers all together, mine are center mounted not 4 outer spans like yours.
Here is that motor /\ in my S10 Blazer:

Same motor, just now stuffed in a much smaller engine bay!

I swear you have a future in used car sales. My god, you change cars so much you are going to need a license or something.

Re: another new toy or two

Well what do you expect, Illinois is only 2nd to California as the most f---ed up state in the country. Lucky us.
Even driver's license are going up to $30.

Shawn
