zq8 Help
Just installed ZQ8 springs from an 02 onto a 99. The problem is the truck lopoks like it is higher not lower. Any reason for this. The springs haven't been used for over a year so maybe just have to settle?????Any advise word be great. Total we installed ZQ8 Leafs, springs, sway bar, and 01 disc blazer rear end. So far grand total of less then $200. (All ZQ8 parts were donated by my 02 thats bagged.

Re: zq8 Help
before and after pics or measurements?
You could have not got the coils seated in the pocket correctly, but I don't know why the rear would look higher. hehe Unless it was already dropped with 3" leafs or had drop blocks and you forgot to put them on the new leafs. OR your stock leafs could have sagged bad causing the rear to lower than 1.5" but you should have noticed that. Last edited by ZQ8 Blazer : 06-29-2008 at 10:21 PM. |

Re: zq8 Help
They have different spring rates if it's 4cyl or 6 cyl.
Im guessing you have a 4cyl and installed V6 springs. |

Re: zq8 Help
Sorry back is still up in the air. Just the front will try to get measurements and a picture or to. They are both 6 cyl. and from what I could see they looked seated in the frame.
