Whats the best setup.....for the $$$
I have an 86 S-10 Chassis that I am putting under a 1950 Chevy Pickup body. I have a modest budget and decent fab skills. I'm going with a Chevy 350 and a 700-R4 feeding a Ford 9" in the rear.
This truck will be a daily driver and do some towing. I want a 2" front drop and beefier disk brakes. I've read till I fall asleep at the keybaord about this and that setup. What should I buy and where? What combination is the best bang for the buck? From what I've read I'm favoring drop spindles. Links to the build thread here: http://glennsplace.com./fifty_chevy.htm Thanks for any help! |
