what needs to be done

i have an 01 2 door 2wd blazer that has 255/35/22 wheels. right now its sitting on a 2/3 drop (2"spindles,3"blocks). i'm wanting at least another 2" in both front and rear.

so what needs to be done to keep my rims/tires with nearly all my turning radius? i dont have the correct back spacing because quite honestly i dont understand it. they are boss 304's and i was told they need to come out more. but if i do that they will be completley untucked and wont be working right.

anyways, what do i need to do to get a total of a 4/5 drop to keep my tires?

Re: what needs to be done

well dropping it 2" is dropping it 2", theres really no secret way to do it, if they are just rubbing on the frame its not going to make a difference if its dropped, but they may start to rub on the inners, theres threads on backspacing an what not, search and you can learn

Re: what needs to be done

o and i realize this is highly unlikely, but is there a parts place that i could order from that would allow me to install the parts, and if i get too much rubbing i can take them off and return them for full price?

Re: what needs to be done

with 22s the most you wanna drop is 4 on a daily and even then you need to remove the inner fenders i ran 265/35/22 on a 4/7 drop and turning wasn't bad. but for the best results you need ET20 0ffset wheels and learning how to turn with the big wheels.

Re: what needs to be done

alright i looked at this a bit more in depth. i wanna lower the front another 3" and the back 2". that'll be a total of a 5/5 drop. and my tires are actually 255/30/22.

will there be anymore rubbing then what i have now? right now its just on the frame at nearly full lock.

Re: what needs to be done

if your gonna go 30 series go with 265/30/22 great tires size.

oh yeah more rubbing if i were you i would drop it just another inch. two at the most if you drive it everywhere 5 inch drop is gonna be a ruff ride trust me and yeah it on the frame just gotta learn your new turning radius.

Re: what needs to be done

No company will sell you suspension parts and return them. UNless they are new int he box and NOT used. So if you buy the parts, Your stuck with them.

Or sell them to a buddy with a dime.
