My concern with this kit is that i have a 2.2l and it is listed for a 4.3, also which company is recommended for shims after lowering so that my one piece drive shaft doesn't f*ck my transmission?

If you get the 4.3 kit, it will not lower your truck 4 inches. You may get 2.5, 2 from the spindles and maybe 1/2 from the springs. You probably would not need shims with 4 inch blocks, as long as they are angled blocks.

Get JTR blocks, but not 4" blocks. You'll need 2.2 coils
