wanting to
I'm not sure if im wanting to drop or raise my 4x4 first gen blazer, im leaning towards the lowering as of now, but i cant find any good reference pictures of a lowerd FIRST generation blazer. can anyone supply me with some if you have a lowerd blazer? and can anyone tell me what a 4/6 or 5/7 drop on a 4x4 would be equivalent to on a 2wd?
please and thank you |

Re: wanting to
If you want a 5/7 trade it for a 2wd. You can only go so low on a 4X4 before you start running into problems. Anything more than a 3/3 and you will be putting far too much stress on your front suspension.

Re: wanting to
Get a 2wd 9 times out of 10 they look better dropped. Plus you can go lower and get better mpg

Re: wanting to
don't drop a 4x4, it will be a pain in YOUR a**. My rule is, lift 4wd and lower 2wd.

Re: wanting to
X2 on that. I have done the switch from 4X4 to 2wd, and don"t even try finding tubular arms for a dropped 4X4, they use different control arms than a 2wd. On the plus side, a 4X4 front suspension gets NASTY camber when laid out, looks wicked.
