spindles and shocks?

i have been talking about dropping my 2001 2WD blazer for a while now. i am finally going to be ordering parts tomorrow, but i would like to know 2 things.

1. how much should a set of 2 belltech drop spindles cost me?
and 2. should i get shocks? if so what kind and how much would they cost me?

i was just going to drop it with 2" spindles in the front and a 3" block in the back for now, and see how that rides. but since im going to be under there doing this stuff, i figured i check and see if people use aftermarket shocks or not?

thanks
steven

The blazer spindles are twice as expensive as the s10's. You do not need drop shocks with spindles. Spindles do not change the shock mounting points. Stock shocks will be fine. Here's a link for Belltech's spindles from Summitt Racing:http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...115+4294853238

No you don't need drop shocks with blocks either. Blocks do not change the shock mounting points. You only need drop shocks (shorter shocks) when you use drop coils or drop leafs.

Re: spindles and shocks?

The other day there was guy wanting to trade his drop spindles for a stock set. I just picked up spindles and leafs from a member. Just gotta get some shocks soon.
