So the blazer needs to be closer to earth...questions

Ok im buying an 01 Blazer on monday. 40K original miles. I have a sick set of kmc 18's for it and i want to do a 5/7 drop. My stupid question is cuz ik there is alot of problems with the spindles could i do it this way > http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=DJM%2DKS2331%2D3% 2D4&N=700+4294908216+4294925130+4294839061+4294844 590+115&autoview=sku
Any add a 2 inch coil and 3 in leafs?
Any questions or pictures of drop blazers would be killer. Heres the blazer.

go with belltech. 3 inch coils and 2 inch spindals for the front, 3 inch leafs and 4 inch blocks for the rear. Then a mean alignment

nope. Suicide doors wouldn't sell them if they weren't the best. But if not try AIM. I heard sh!tty things about their spindals but i've been running them for 5 years and had them on 4 trucks without a problem.

What problems is that? You can't add drop coils to DJM arms so 3" is all you're going to get. The arms are worth about 5 cents anyway.
A 5/6 will probably level it out better. Here's what I'd do:
2" spindles, 3" coils (your a-arms will smack the frame on big dips), lean spacer, 3" leafs, 2" JTR blocks, 3 deg. JTR shims(I'm guessing), JTR setback plates, and a custom or SD notch. That'll give you roughly a 5/5.5 this will give you a slight rake.

Mine is dropped 4/4.5 using 2" Belltech spindles, Lean spacer, 2" DJM coils, pulled leaf, 2" JTR blocks, JTR Setback Plates, JTR 3 deg. shim, and a custom notch w/ nitro 2's. Rides better than factory.

http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Par...ng-Blocks.html

Also I've ran Summit brand shocks and Belltech Nitro 2 shocks and I like the Nitros a lot better.

The only thing wrong with them is the price.

All they have that I'd run is the SS mirrors.

ok cool. how far can i drop it without notching the frame. im guessing a bolt in notch is in order for that...

Probably 3.5" mine bottomed out at a 4" drop w/ everything clearanced. I finally built my own notch out of some thick ass steel and welded it in. I have about $5 in it
You can also get the SD notch, but it's like $100.

BTW I don't understand you question all the way. You want to know how far you can drop it w/o notching then you say a notch is in order for that. I'm lost.

You can probably go 3.5" w/o a notch (2dr's are a little different than 4dr's) So yes with 6" you'll need a notch.

My 98 was 1" higher in the rear. I 5/7 would take it down too low though.

I wonder how hard it'd be to convert it to power? On my 94 fullsize it was easy, I just got all the components, bolted them up, hooked the harness in and ran it through the door jam, and installed the dash harness for it.

Re: So the blazer needs to be closer to earth...questions

5/6 will sit perfect, i am at that level with no notch.... dont do that i only can run a half of tank and have a quarter of an inch clearance before my axle hits the frame. im notching it in the coming weeks.

blazers suck spindels arnt cheap but theres nothing wrong with them whatsoever.

back up camera FTMFW! plus as im gettin in my blaze at night i kinda look around n make sure no one is walking down the street i can b ack over

and 5/7ish here.. its 2" spindles, 3" coils, 3" leafs and 3/3.5" block/shim/setback plate. and i got a huge ass sub box for 2 15's that brings the back down. and im notched and i hit inside it if i turn the corner with any kind of speed or any kind of bump. so air shocks ftw! the front is still setteling. i had the front all cleared from rubbing inners but recently the tire started hitting the inners on big bumps.

pic whore time!

before air shocks..and the rear end jacked up so it does sit a little lower on the ground

wickedmayhem. your the reason why i bought a 2wd 2dr blazer. it looks so sick and not alot a poeple have them. and even less have a 5 speed with 40 thousand miles.

As for the tint i think im gona do 5 on the rear windows and like 30 on the front.

Also i think im going to do a 5/7 cuz i like the look of the rear end sittin a little lower than the front....its static cali lol

its when i had the flip kit on it. i didnt cut it off all the way.

and he must have something darker than 5% or he's blind as ****. i have 5% all around.. and everything minus the door windows has factory tint so its really darker than 5%. i can see lights just fine in mine at night.

Oh ok.

I know nothing about tint. He told me it was 5% but I rode in it too and you can't see anything at night. I'm surprised he hasn't had a wreck yet.
