That is the absolute truth. Earlier this year I drove my 5/6 drop up to NYC. As soon as I cross into NJ it was a roller coaster. I won't even mention Atlantic Ave or Linden Blvd in Brooklyn. I was creeping along trying to dodge mine fields and everyone else was flying by blowing their horns at me.

Fun stuff

thanks for the good words man. i agree, nothing says bad ass like a blazer that you cant find in a parking lot behind a honda civic hahahaha

the notch is the Suicide Doors bolt in. my buddy scott did it for me. he used a plasma cutter and it took about and hour each side.

Re: Post pics of your drops

that dosent look like 5 inch up front, we lowered my friends 5/4 and it sat lower.. it might also be the rake or wheels that make it sit different

Your Jimmy sat 'bout the same as the '85 4x4 Blazer I recently bought.
How much rear ground clearance do you have now, (to the shock mount), and what size tire and wheel is that?

Thanks!

I must see these 3" drop spindles. I don't see why they would stop making them unless there was a problem with them.
