Just did the 2/3 today. Belltech Spindles, JTR blocks with a 4 degree spacer, JTR driveshaft alignment kit.

I know she's plain jane, but I just got it a few weeks ago...much love is in store for her...

Also - can someone tell a forum noob how to embed a photo n this thread?

They are 17x8 American Racing Torq lite's, after looking at lots of wheels these fit my truck the best and i can still race the truck without changing to a different set.

I dont know how you guys do it...when I 1st started lowering my truck I got 3" drop leafs & 3" drop blocks..then I added 2" drop spindles & 3" Drop springs...it was undrivable....the front cross member was like 1" from the street and the back frame to axle...

What made my 5/6 driveable was a c-notch, quality shocks and bigger front sway bar. I've lived in S. Florida for several years (Palm Beach and Broward area) and I've also lived in other citys (N Cali Bay area and NYC) and now Charlotte.

By far Florida roads were the best I've ever driven on. For the most part the roads in Fla are flat and smooth. If I was still in Florida I would have probably gone with a 6/7 static drop. So I'm surprised to see you're from Fla and you wasn't loving your 5/6 drop. I also understand certain parts of the same state are different.

I've been seriously considering those rally wheels for some time now but kept hesitating because I wanted to see more pics of them on a Blazer. Do you have any decent side shots that show the wheels better? Also, what size, BS and offset are they? And what size tires are you running? They don't look like 235/70's. Not to mention you're sitting much lower in the front than I am, and we have the same drop!

BTW, the pics are great except for that dork in the driver's seat. LOL j/k

kinda dirty..

there is some side shots. the tires are 215/65's. they lowered me another inch, so my front sits 25 3/4 inches from the ground to the fender lip. and they back is at 27 inches i think. not sure on BS or offset. the wheels are 15x7, and came off an old chevelle.

and yea, idk whats up with the dweeb mofo in the drivers seat....

Aaaah, Why not... Truck is still a semi-pos, but here's my drop:

2/3 drop... that's more like a 3/3 drop:
Coils may have been for a 2.2... bought em for $40 (new in box), nothing on it about motor size...

Next to a ZR2 Blazer and a 4X4 S10.

... Pardon the wheels, just back from a road trip when this pic was taken (still on the trip in the 2nd pic) ...

before the florida sun got a hold of the primer,... 5/7 drop in suspension, 6/8 if you include tire diameter. tire size is 245/40/18.

re: Post pics of your drops

Here is mine. The guy I bought it off of said it was lowered 4" in the front (2" drop spindles and 2" springs) and 3" in the rear (blocks), but by looking at some of the others' pics in this thread, it looks lower. I just picked up a set of ZQ8s off another member and threw them on. Tires are 235/55R-16. And yes I know I need to get the front bumper repainted. He did a lousy job with touch-up paint, and it shows.

That looks about right. I have a four in drop on 15 in rims in the front and it leaves about 3/4 in gap from the top of the tire to the fender. Ground clearance on the front looks to be the same as mine.
I like an agressive stace so I only lowered the rear two in.
