It's a GM rollpan. Got her off ebay for $60 and the tag light set for $30. Nice beacause it bolts right up and the bed has the holes already for it.

re: Post pics of your drops
My question is, what exactly is sooooo different between the normal Blazer suspension vs the X-treme Blazer vs the normal S-10 that even with a 5" drop, I'm still sitting a mile high in the air? I feel like I got jipped! I don't sit nowhere near as low as civil which looks great, and even Wicked has a 5" drop and sits lower that me! I know the coils need time to settle, but still... What gives? ![]() |

re: Post pics of your drops
You can see with the lines going down the side of your Blazer, that it lines up almost perfectly with the very top of the front rims. Mine's still about 1.5" above the top of the front rims. Hmm... Now I'm starting to wonder if I was actually sent the correct Belltech coils. Out of the truck, they looked nearly as tall as the stock coils, but I wasn't really comparing. Just looking at them briefly from a short distance.
BTW, I'm sitting at 28.75" in the front on both sides. Last edited by BlazerChops : 07-22-2008 at 08:57 PM. |

re: Post pics of your drops
First of all guys this is a great place for inspiration of drop techniques on our dimes. I have here my 1999 4 banger sonoma, with toyo proxes s/t 295-50-15 tires front and rear on ion series 171 black rims, backspace is 3 inches on 8 inch rims. Front fender height is 25.5 inch and 27 in the rear. I had used belltech everything for a 3/3 drop. 3" coils with the chevy lean isolator bushing, rear leafs, the EXPENSIVE perfomnce shocks by belltech, and put both the swaybars under it also. I will post more info this is all from the top of my head right now. Here are some pics.

re: Post pics of your drops
Guys I need some help, I dropped my sonoma 4 cyclinder with all belltech, 3 inch coils in the front (with the driver side bushing for chevy lean), 3 inch leafs in the rear and went with their high performance shocks. Also have front and rear swaybars from them. I am running 295-50-15 front and rear, fender heights are as follows:
Driver front = 26 3/16" Passenger front = 26 11/16" Driver Rear = 28 1/16" Passenger Rear = 28 5/16" Right now i can fit a Dime between the driver front tire and fender lip, and a 50cent $1 coin on the passenger. Now I do realize that I can't get this perfect but its half an inch off on the front still and leaning to the driver side. What would be best to again try to correct this damn chevy lean. Cut Coil on passenger side, if so how much? or should I order through belltech one of the coil spacers? either way I gotta get if figured out i have plans for 285-30-18 (24.8")fronts and 335-30-18 (25.9") rear and dropping it additionally 2 more inches for a total 5/5 drop. At that height you WILL notice it wouldn't you? I will still have just over 3 inches of frame to ground space after all tire and drop is put into consideration. also it is a 1999 sonoma if that matters |
