Re: Helpppp Coil Springs!!!!

Probably didn't measure. Are the coils seated properly? It should be pretty level. How much higher is the front? And how and what are you measuring to come to this conclusion?

Re: Helpppp Coil Springs!!!!

All trucks are different so this is just an estimate. Reg. suspension with a 2/3 drop should put you around 27" all the way around.

Re: Helpppp Coil Springs!!!!

4's and 6's have different coil spring rates which match the difference in weight. So it shouldn't make any difference.

The springs may not be proper seated. Look under the LCA and you will see two holes under where the coils sit. The coil should cover one hole completely and only 1/2 of the second hole. This assures they are the same on both sides. If one is tured 1/2 a turn, it would make that side higher. It may work itself into the proper position. How long has it been since you droped it?

Re: Helpppp Coil Springs!!!!

Look at the holes in the LCA's and see if it tells you what's wrong. That doesn't cost anything and doesn't take much time.

Re: Helpppp Coil Springs!!!!

Mine is one inch higher in the front with a 2/3 drop. i have the z83 soft ride suspension, and my rear leafs are really sagged out. i bet thats probably what happened to you. Did it have any rake before the drop or was it level?

Re: Helpppp Coil Springs!!!!

but what pissed me off was that i have an 89 dodge dakota and it was higher in the back than the front and i did a 3/4 inch drop and it still remained higher in the back so i figured i would do a 2/3 on the s10 and it would do the same. All my friends that have had s10 did an inch lower in the back and theirs turned out right.
