Help! Lower Ball Joint issue.

Putting on new spindles and can't get the lower ball joint to tighten because the as I try to tighten the castle nut, the ball joint spins.....any ideas??

clean the threads on the balljoint if its still good.
if its a worn balljoint, replace it

I eventually got it. They are worn but I had to get the truck back together....looks like I'll be doing it over again next weekend. Should have looked into it deeper before I tore things down. Oh well.
