yea, I wouldn't drop it anymore unless you move or find somewhere else to park. Otherwise say goodbye to your X kit.

To answer your question though, you can probably go with a 2" drop spring in the front. That should give around a half inch extra up front and should be enough to give you the slight rake you're looking for.

Re: dropping an BlazerX 1" - anyone did it?

who makes 2" or 3" front coils that ride as good or better that my stock stuff??

also are the rear leaf springs have a better ride?? (been reading posts not much on blazers.... mostly pickups)

so far it is between 2" coils and no change in back.....
3" coils and rear springs (not sure if they even make them at this point)

anything else i think will be just to low..... i guess i could always park on the street.......

thanks for the info....

Re: dropping an BlazerX 1" - anyone did it?

Belltech makes 3" drop leafs, but if you're not going to drop it that much then I'd just get some JTR blocks.

So you have a 1.5/3 drop?

I have 2" DJM coils w/ 2" Belltech spindles and Nitro 2's all the way around and it rides a lot better than stock.

Ofcourse 2" coils will drop you 1/2" and 3" will drop you 1.5"

You could always drop the hump down in your driveway which would give ya a little more room to drop it more.

Re: dropping an BlazerX 1" - anyone did it?

yeah.... right now it is 1.5"/3"

about the rear question.... are the rear 3" drop leaf springs rough riding?
i found belltech part number for the rear did not find JDM's part number yet...

the JDM 2" front drop coils sound like i'll get a little more drop than what i have now...

looks like i'm going to be parking on the driveway or street....

who makes 1" drop coils?? been reading that the 3" coils are really rough riding....

thanks for all the help!!!!

Re: dropping an BlazerX 1" - anyone did it?

BTW it's DJM.

I thought eveyone made 1" coils, I know Western Chassis does. I've heard the 3" coils ride rougher and bottom out more which would make sense.

If you're going to drop it and park on the street drop it atleast 4/5 or something.

I don't have drop leafs, but I pulled a leaf out of back and that dropped it 1.75" then I bought: 2" blocks, set backs, 3 deg. shims and that gave me about a 4.5" drop out back. It rides better than stock, not bouncy or rough.

Belltech is the only one that makes spindles for the 98+ blazers.

all 98+ blazers do, they sit about 1-1.5" higher than S-10s. They look god awful on stock 15's w/ stock tires.

The non-extreme models are really bad.
