best ride quality

actually had a quick question about ride quality. I'm trying to debate what set up is going to give me the best ride. Im wondering if just piecing together the zq8/extreme suspension and sticking with that would be the right route or just buying 2" drop spindles and 3" blocks with the right drop shocks would be the right route. It is going to be my daily driver and i dont want a bouncy or rough ride, and im running 225/70/15s up front and 275/60/15s in the rear with the extreme body kit and its a '98 reg. cab short bed. any help would be great

define 'best' some people like it way too soft to notice a boulder, where as i like knowing the difference between running over a penny and a dime.

I'm sorry not trying to sound like a dick, hope I didn't come off that way. So how does yours ride and how do you have it setup that way?

Well right now i dont have any drop what so ever and i know im going to need one but when i get it i want it to be a comfortable ride, and would that choice be with and aftermarket beltech drop or piece together a ZQ8/Extreme suspension??

Re: best ride quality

If you go spindles and blocks, you do NOT need to change shocks lengths. Stock will be fine. If you change coils or leafs, then you may need drop shocks depending on how much drop you do.

So would i have a better ride quality with belltech drop spindles and blocks or with an extreme/zq8 suspension, obviously just doing the spindles and blocks would be cheaper and easier but would ride quality be better???

Re: best ride quality

Many people swear tall blocks worsen ride quality. With spindles and 2" blocks, I noticed no difference in ride quality. Axlewrap was a little worse. Handling was better with lower center of gravity.
