Welcome. Try looking around using search first. There are about a million threads on this topic. Might want to introduce yourself in the new members section too.

well if you want 5" drop in the front, your best bet is going to be 2" spindles and 3" coils, for the back im not sure what would ride the best, you could go with 3" blocks, and some drop leafs or something, like he said, search, and find out whats best for you, oh an welcome!

Up front you can dehump the back side of the lower control arm, or trim the frame out a bit above it for clearance and again better ride quality.

Out back, notching the frame would help the rearend ride better with a 6" drop.

Both of these are not absolutely necessary but you said your looking for a nice ride.

Re: another newb ? lol

blazers have diff frames than s10's so your response is invalid, they need notches earlier than s10's.

imo 5.5"+ in the back requires a notch to be comfortable. i am 6" in the back, and i have been as low as 6.5" and the notch for me was very necessary.

for a 5/6 do 3" coil in front, 2" spindle in front, 3" leaf in back, 3" block, and a bolt in notch.
