adding a sway bar
i lowered my 88. when i turn like around a curve doing over 30 my truck leans and the tires run very bad on the top of the fenders. i was thinking about something to stiffen up the suspension. it does not have a sway bar. could i add one from the junk yard?

Re: adding a sway bar
Yes, but you may have to drill holes in the frame for the brackets, i had to on my 94

Re: adding a sway bar
if you get one from a zq8 truck you shouldnt have to, they bolt up to some factory holes in the frame up by the shock i think, i am pretty sure mine 02 zq8 bar and brackets bolted right up to my 91 frame no drilling. but make sure you get a truck one with all the brackets, i have one for sell if in need
![]() and for the front it is direct bolt on from any year blazer or s10 that is also 2wd Last edited by baggedzq8 : 08-09-2008 at 02:26 AM. |
