BELLTECH/DJM DIRECT- Cheapest Pricing/24-7 Support/on S10 forum for 13 plus years!
FINALLY!! I've been helping this community for over 13 years now and selling both belltech/djm products for a while now and beating anyones prices not a biggie. Pm me a link to the lowest pricing you find either here or at tony@tbssowners.com and I will beat. I urge people to get pricing from others first then I can see what I can do for you.
Now unlike others I offer 24/7 support on all belltech and djm items (not a type yes 24/7 support) and have been doing suspension kits on these trucks since 1993. You can see my wheel/tire thread I can also help you with suspension/tires. I'm good friends with Mike and Mark at DJM also I'm very good with belltech due to my customer community in the Trailblazer SS parts.
If you have any questions I'm around 24/7 and feel free to call and text me
415 519 2432 AND YES 24/7 means just that. Even if you didn't buy parts from me I'm here to help you guys out because I'm not all about selling belltech or djm parts. I have been on this site since 1998 and helping people out since thats what this community is about and what I'm about.
My name is Tony and many also know me from my Trailblazer SS forum at www.tbssowners.com
As you can see on this thread I've helped many people so just list these few items and I can dial in a kit for you
1) What year s10 or blazer?
2) Singe or ext cab or 2 or 4 door blazer?
3) How low do you want to go?
4) If your planning to change tires you can list what your looking at also since I do the wheel/tire combos all the time.
And I just want to stress that im around 24/7 to help don't be afraid to call.
Hey zq8 dropped with 2 in spindles and 4 in blocks. Running 225/60-16 with no rubbing. Can I step up to a wider tire and still not rub? I'm paranoid about curb checking... Any help will be greatly appreciated....
I want to get drop spindles will anything change as far as mounting my 17" ZR1 vette wheels with 275/40 tires on 2.5" spacers, I already had to grind down my tierod end a tiny bit. Question 2, whats drop springs would equal the same as my mono leafs, I want to go another 1-1.5" lower than it is but I need a base.
i'm looking into buying off a local. he has belltech drop leafs and shocks off a 93. will these fit on my 2000 s10. some places have different numbers for different years and some sites claim they will fit all s10s. looking for a solid answer
I want to sit another 1.5" at the most, even then I think the suspension needs to be stiffer so the rims dont hit the fender lips as the rims sit about flush. I have a set of lowering springs for the front, but I was hoping on gaining more room in between the tierods and the rim, btw they are 17x9.5 ZR1's.
I was thinking it would ride better as well with lowering springs compared to mono's.
I dont know if you would know, but do they make a swaybar that would bolt on the rear ?
I would love to do coilovers/tubular control arms in the front with a 4 link/coilovers in rear, but damn that a lot of money.
thanks for the response. i have 245 50's on zq8s. i'm currently running spindles and 3" blocks the front is about 1.5 higher than the rear. i dont know if this is because of mileage on the leafs or what. i have a set of zq8 springs to level out the truck. but now that im getting drop leafs that may level out the truck. if i put zq8 coils in i may have to add different drop blocks with the drop leafs. i plan on running drop shocks in the front and air shocks in the rear. (i haul motorcycles often) i wouldnt mind going lower than a 2/3 drop when i put the leafs on.
the 94-97 have the zq8 leafs in them 95 percent of the time if its a 4 cylinder. you will see you only have 3 leafs. I found this out in 97 when I did 3 s10s same day and teh 97 s10 ss leafs were the same ie thats why the 94-97 s10 4 cylinders look even or many times rear is like 1/4 inch lower than front.
the zq8s will not drop it 1.5 i would go with a belltech 2 inch drop spring and new shocks belltech street performance and your set to go.
Going to run 16" old skool zq8 wheels on my 2000 sonoma x- cab 4.3l with a 5/6. just curious on what you thot on a tire size? I currently have 215/60/15 on it. Thanks
hey norcal i have a 02 blazer xtreme i did not come with the zq8 susp. i has low rider chassis according to vin # info. it rides very hard i was wondering if i change the spring will it ride smoother? right know it has 2" spindles (belltech).looking to do 1" more of a drop.
honeslty ive only cut customers coils 1/2 loop cause they wanted no lean. I allways tell my customers save up and get djm drop springs cause they ride good and arent that expensive.
What size tire should i run with a 3/4 drop with 15x8 wheels and have no wheel gap? How nuch shipped could you get me a belltech or djm (if they make one) swaybar shipped? If u could pm me the answers i would appreciate it. Thanks
Well my question should be an easy one. I'm thinking about getting 4inch blocks on a 94 s10 extended cab. Everytime I look at the blocks they don't say if they are angled. Can you tell me where to find some? and do I need shims or whatever they are?
i have a chevy lean of half an inch. any easy cheap quick fixes for this? also any advice on lowering the rear end of my truck a little bit more? i have 3" lowering blocks and i want maybe another half an inch to an inch more without spending much money. i can maybe fabricate my own shackles? i have the know how and the welding skills needed just not sure if its possible/safe? thanks for all your help!
You could pull the leaf above overload that will drop about 1 inch.
in front for chevy lean place the end of the drivers side lower spring in the lower control arm about 3/8 away from the first drain hole it should sit even.
hey this may be a question thats been covered in the forum before, but I am getting ready to order my drop kit today and had to ask. 02 s-10 ext cab, i want to do a 4/4 or 4/5 stock steel wheels. what should i buy?
my buddy works at belltech so I can have you go thru him to save you money.
on the 4/5 drops I do on guys trucks I do
front springs belltech or djm
front spidnels belltech or djm
Rear leafs belltech
rear blocks belltech or STEEL djm
Belltech street performance shocks all around
My buddy at DJM (MIKE) hooks my s10 buddies up all the time.
doing a djm spring/spindle/block kit saves you about 50 bucks over the belltech stuff. The leafs and shocks I would get thru belltech
If you have anymore questions feel free to email me norcalss06@aol.com and ill talk to mike at DJM and see what he can do for you.
btw 4/4 or 4/5 drop on the stock 15 inch whees
225 60 15 front and 255 60 15 rear
