it'll be even on the blue trucks. the red trucks will be lower in the back, and i think it's the pewter ones that will actually be lower in the front

Re: 5/7 drop compared to 5/6

Monoleaf>4" blocks HA HA

You could also use two 2" blocks stacked OR a 1" block and a 3" block, both would equal 4" Anything but a single 4" block man!

Re: 5/7 drop compared to 5/6

7" blox R teh sheet

anyways to seriously answer the question seriously, every truck is different. on some trucks a 5/6 will even out the truck, however some trucks the back may be higher, so a 5/7 is needed. you just gotta measure YOUR own truck and determine what the best combination is for you.

Yes, it certainly appears as though he is. But remember, to quote Shorty himself, (and I'm paraphrasing, not a direct qoute) "Just don't drive like an asshat and you'll be fine". Mmmmm...logic at it's most delicious.

"Just don't drive like an asshat and you'll be fine"
Oh yeah he was talking to me and I meant to answer him.
1. I don't drive my vehicle like a speed demon, although I used to race my other rides.
2. Mine had wheel hop when I had to take off quick when pulling out, but doesn't anymore and it's dropped 1/2" lower.
3. 4" Blocks Suck

To quote JTR's Website:
Quote:
Generally, lowering blocks taller than 3" (with 15" rims) are not recommended because this positions the lower spring bracket below the rim line (also called the "scrub line") and this is illegal in many states, because if the tire loses air, the bracket will drag on the ground, causing the vehicle to lose control.
And JTR is the God of lowering blocks, if they don't make it then somethings wrong with it.

Well thats all fine and dandy but....I'm not on a 15 inch wheel, and my brackets are a good couple of inches above this "scrub line". But when I ever have any problems resulting directly from these blocks, I'll be sure and let you know. My guess is that they don't make the 4 inch blocks b/c many people wouldn't pay attention to where the brackets are in relation to their wheel and it's to cover their own ass if someone were to have a wreck using their product. Idk why everyone took it so personal. Like I said, i don't believe they are the best way to lower a vehicle, but in my application, it gave me the exact height I needed out back with my zq8 leafs, and I have everything shimmed correct and have everything set up to the best it could be, so their is no issues like everyone says I should/will have. If yall wanna take it the wrong way, then whatever.
