um you kinda need the leaf springs lol. for a 3/4 do 2" drop spindles, 1" coils, 3" drop leafs, and 1" blocks. throw some drop shocks on the back and you're set.

You could, but with those tall blocks you will have some pretty wicked axle wrap if you like to get on it.

yeah you could do that but the ride wont be as good. it is cheaper though.

look at www.airgasmkustomz.com and get their 4" drop leaf springs for $90...i have never had 'em or seen 'em on a truck but there is your rear taken care of for ya (besides the shocks)

ok, whered you get that at? I am piecing mine together.... was getting ready to order some stuff later today but.... that sounds doable right now! I wonder what other things you'll encounter with that much of a drop.... axle, driveshaft issues?
and I know I asked this before but cant find that post..,,, does anyone know what size bolt to buy ahead of time as I keep reading to do the rear its just easier to cut off a bolt in the back and replace it... I know people have worked it out but just cutting it off and replacing seems easier to me...

go to ur local gm supply place, only place your going to get them, and jst get the whole shackle kit if you want, its $50 and the bolt itself is $12 a piece
