3/4 Blazer drop
Hey i've recently decided to drop my 03 blazer 2dr 3/4 and I have a few questions. Im looking at DJM blocks and springs, and Im wondering if i need shims for the rear or if the blocks are angled already. And if theres anything else i need to look at getting besides springs, blocks, and drop shocks?

Re: 3/4 Blazer drop
Im not sure if they come angled or not. I have had good luck with the flat blocks and putting shims in. if you use the flat blocks, sometimes you will get a low speed shudder when you accelerate. DJM makes good stuff so you cant go wrong with anything from them!
Drop spindles would be the way to go up front tho, gives the factory ride and keeps your suspension geometry the same. Doing coils alone will start to camber the wheels in... and for a truck with non-adjustable suspension, thats bad news for your tires lol.. |

Re: 3/4 Blazer drop
thats why you get an alignment after you lower it...so they can correct the negative camber issue...but even with some negative camber it wont wear the tires out really bad. the toe in and out will do more than negative camber.
i ran -1.5 degrees on my s10 and i got 40k miles out of the same tires and i couldnt rotate them because they were smaller than the rears and directional tires |

Re: 3/4 Blazer drop
I have 3 inch DJM springs and 4 inch DJM angled blocks on my 01 2dr. Blazer. I love it and never had any issues, except for the blown stock shocks that I keep meaning to fix.

Re: 3/4 Blazer drop
mine were, i started out with 3"coils and 4" blocks, had that for a few years. never could get the alignment right, so finally went with 2" spindles and 1" springs and kept the 4" blocks. that worked out a lot better for my truck.
