Why no Canadian for sale section? Read Why.

Ok guys I know alot of you have been rallying to try and get a Candian for sale section. The staff has made an honest discussion on the matter in the past and here is the conclusion that has come from the discussion. I know a lot of you are going to be upset about it, but hey sometimes life ain't fair. I will also post a quote from a fellow Canada staff member (Devildriver) to show that you guys aren't being screwed by the staff.

Basically what it comes down to is the fact that there are not enough Canadian products to merit it's own for sale section. Now I know that might be hard to swallow and I am sure numerous people could post up things saying that the following statement is untrue, but based on the activity we see on here in the for sale stuff, just not enough Candian stuff for sale to merit it's own section.

let's say someone in Tennessee wants a dash, but they only want one in the Tennessee area. they have to search for one the exact same way we do, but does that mean they should have their own section for it? hardly. honestly, if people just posted that they were selling from canada, you could "search this forum" for the keyword "canada". is it really that hard? too much whining you guys, my goodness.

and "i'm tired of paying shipping and brokerage fees and yadda yadda yadda" is not a valid argument. a forum displaying things for sale in canada is not going to change the number of canadian products offered. the fact is, most products you have to buy from the states because that's where they are available, so i wouldn't hold my breath expecting for a bunch of products to suddenly appear and you'll never have to order anything from the states again.

I appreciate the understanding of the decisions that have been made and the cooperation of everyone. Remember, all things that are found for sale or wanting to buy in the regional area forums are removed of as soon as they are seen.
