The Rangers may be the ones built by Friendz in Low Places, they have been selling for cheap on Kijiji lately.

I finally got to ordering new parts for the truck. Had to get a new front wheel hub assembly. I ordered a CAI which should be here this week, and also all new blue LEDs for the interior lighting. I'm ordering a glasspack for it shortly.
You got any pics of that new xtreme kit you got on it? I haven't seen your truck since the show. Where did you get your headlights?
Don't have the kit on yet still waiting for brackets, could use 3M but I'm picky and want it done right.I'll have pics up soon as something goes on. Got the headlights (Carbon fiber Projector) from ebay.

Oh yeah it's OEM and brand new with the part numbers stamped and s10, blazer stamped on the inside. Trust me I almost shit my pants when buddy told how much. That's why I'm in the process of scooping up a couple kits.

What do you think would be a good price to ask for the kit.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Got my gauges switched over to blue LED on the weekend. Just waiting for the other bulbs to arrive so I can do my HVAC and other lighting.

Ignore all the lights on my dash. Lots of sensors gone in my truck lol.

I was gunna pull the bulbs for all of them, but I know exactly what each light is...so I figured it would be better to work towards fixing the issues lol.

I pulled my ABS light cuz the cables always got wrecked and man was it loud when it worked, and the shift bulb cuz it wanted me in 5th to do 60 km.

Looks good, I have the OBDII scanner if you want to clear them. I also had to pull the ABS fuse cause it would make this weird pulsating noise under normal braking conditions, and would lock the back tires up in the rain. Works perfect after pulling the fuse but the lights is always on.

Thanks man, but I have access to a scanner too. My buddy works at Macphee Pontiac, so I can get them cleared anytime. There's no point tho, they keep coming back. My engine light is my MAF sensor, and my ABS fuse is also pulled (which throws on the ABS and brake warning light). I had the same problem as you with locking up and funny noises. I figure it's my wheel speed sensor on my driver side (passenger side is brand new). I will be needing a new hub assembly eventually, so I'm just going to wait til then to fire the fuse back in. Service 4wd is because I don't have an encoder motor or front driveshaft in it right now lol. A connector to the encoder motor was all corroded, so I'm just working on getting it re-pinned now. Hope to have the 4x4 fixed for winter.

All of my 12v LEDs came last night. They're replacing the lighting on the dimer switch, steering wheel controls, door controls, 4x4 control and rear wiper control. I have a feeling they're going to be a pain too since they have to be soldered on. I'll post up pics whenever they're done. I'm also gunna pick up a deck soon to match all the new lighting. Can't have all blue lighting with a stock delco deck .

Hey Kenny, I was wondering if you knew Scott MacLean from up that way. He has/had a really nice red and black Xtreme, been a few years since I spoke with him.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Thanks, it is a good project, working on the cab now, 2 new sills in, 2 cab corners to go in. I'm blasting it and painting the inside next.
I'm trying to source out new tach, speedo, oil, water, volt, fuel and boost guages. I have to re-build the dash, changing it alot from factory to house the guages i need.

As far as I know it is universal for any OBDII, your welcome to try if you want. Just let me know I'll stop by or something.

Tinted my lights today. They turned out awesome. Also got a cherry bomb installed the other night. Sounds pretty good.

Installed my filter that night too. Thought I had posted pics of it, but apparently not..

Everything looks good, but the tail lights look like they need to be cleared, or is it flat on purpose

lol...that seems to be the consensus on GM truck forum too. The tint comes out flat naturally. I could have thrown a coat or two of clear on them, but I really like the flat look. It fits in well with the flat tire carrier and the flatish window trim (it's pretty faded). Normally I don't like the flat look unless it's on a flat painted vehicle, but for some reason I really like the look of mine.
We'll see though...I may clear them. It's an easy thing to do if need be.

If you like it then keep it, I think it looks fine just wasn't sure if it was intentional

Yeah, it was. Although looking at it in the sunlight I may end up clearing them after all. They're a bit patchy. But that will be something I'll look at when I paint my rims and grille next weekend.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Any thoughts of doing the chrome bumper and grille strip on the front in satin black?

My truck stands out much more with the monochrome grille versus the chrome...and I didn't have to paint it like a banana.

Thanks man..lol, I saw you too the other day. Didn't have a chance to get my window down to wave though lol. At least my truck is a bit more noticeable now.

And Barry...I was actually planning on painting the chrome when I did my grille. I'm not a big fan of chrome, and I've seen a lot of painted front ends on blazer's I really like. For some reason though I think the chrome fits in on my truck with the whole blue and black theme. I think doing it all black would darken the front end too much. I may paint the lower chrome piece though (the top of the actual bumper) and leave the bowtie bar chrome...just to keep some division in all the black up front.

I agree, the grill chrome will look good left and painting bumper chrome will make it look more agressive on the ol' blazer.

Not unless I paint the rest of the truck satin black and I am trying to represent an old rotten banana.

Are you talking about ALL blacked out? Bowtie included? I think that would be too bland...everything being black . Like I said though, I may paint that chrome piece on the bumper to be black...it would lessen the chrome. Maybe I'll photoshop it to see what it would look like all black..but I don't think I'd like it at all.

Yup, all the chrome should be satin black. Maybe do something with the bowtie? Blue?

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Hmmm...it's a thought. Looking at mine I think I'll definitely paint the chrome on the bumper black. I'm undecided about the bowtie bar though.

And yellownoma...driving across the bridge today I noticed you had what looked like LED light bars for driving lights on the front. Those new?

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Yeah I had to get something to pass safety inspection this month because I converted the headlights to H4's running directly off the battery (w/relay), which means no more drl's. I still can't figure out how much I like them, I've had them on for a few weeks working out some bugs (bad grounds), there bright as hell at night, hidden under the grill when there off, and visible during the day. I'll take a pic soon.
