Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Thanx SS, got back from P.E.I today golfing was great. You guys missed a wicked car show over there today. Lot's of nice s trucks there. Had a shity drive home though just about to cross the bridge I notice I have no brakes barely any pressure, pull over n take a look my exhaust hanger snapped pinched my brake line in between axle and exhaust pipe. Had to take the line out put a screw in the fitting. Had no good tools with me took me like 2 hours fu*king sucked.

I thought it was on sunday, but the quinpool show and shine is supposed to be on sunday too. But either way I'd like to go to both.

We should meet this week so I can get the bedrug from you, or maybe at the show.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

The Miller show is Sunday as well...I hope to get out for a while atleast. Even though my rear end now has less paint than Ryan's. Probably should put the new rollpan on, it looks very odd with nothing there.

Anyone hitting the cruise Friday night???

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Did anyone make it up to the Atlantic Nationals beside me and yellownoma? I saw your truck there yellownoma, but there was no one around it so I figured you must have been out wandering around.
The first day was amazing...it must have been 30+ and sunny. Sunday it started to rain though, so I only stuck around til about 12. There was some nice stuff there as always though.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

I'm trying to hit the Quinpool cruise but I have got to finish up some of this...

The new rollpan is painted and ready, just need to finish the left rear box corner and paint the gate.

I will probably pop in to the Miller show but not with the truck as I am on daddy duty, trying to pawn them off on the gradparents for a while and if that works I'll have the truck.

You could always meet us at the park...just park far far away.

I would expect to be at PPP for a few hours. Just remember you will have to find us.

Hey Scott,

It was good to finally put a face to the name. Check out ARMS for any local racing/solo events. http://www.armsinc.ca/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=18 or the local kart club at http://www.amka.ca/

How come I did not see any bananas?

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Sorry fellas I slept in big time today didn't wake up till friggin 2:00, plus I was bummed out my rims and tires that I ordered on June11 didn't get here yet the first set they said they got the bolt pattern drilled in 2 of them but couldn't get the correct bolt pattern in the other 2. So they were sending me a set of 20's for the price of the 18's, so when i called them again on the day they were supposed to be here they said they only received 3 of them and they were waiting for the last one. Finally the next day(July 9th) they were shipped out and I received my tracking # from fedx, but now there not supposed to be here until tuesday July21.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

I had good intentions.. slept in and the truck was a mess.
I want to go down to Thursday night A&W, does anybody go down from time to time recently?

The big woodside A&W Cruise n' Dub show is August 20, I do plan to get off work early for that one.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

I am on vacation the week of the 20th...we should all try to make that one again, maybe meet up somewhere and go down as a group again. We really should get some group shots sometime.

I'll have to aim to have the rest of the truck painted by then.

I was afraid you'd say that...lol. You could definitely make a pretty penny on them though if you do choose to sell.

Yeah I go to physio at the professional building on North Steveryday,I thought I saw a hand come out the window when you passed, I just noticed too late to wave back though. You need something that makes your truck stand out from the rest. Yeah I suck at photography I was thinking the same thing that the pictures didn't do it justice either.

I seen Barry on North St today though sitting behind my truck waiting at the light, the back looks good now all shaved and smooth you just need some paint too.

lol yeah I seen ya comin so I waved. Wasn't sure you'd know it was me or not. I do need something to make my truck stand out...can't think what I could do thats cheap (I'm a little short on cash right now lol) and easy to do...
Easiest way to spot my truck I guess is from the back...I've got a few decals on the back and also the taillight brush guards on it.

Re: Whats up Atlantic Canada?

Some of us are a little more adventureous than others...

...where's the fun without the challenge?

Mine is a whole lot easier now that the front is up about 2" from where it was. I still want to get it back down an inch.

A little protection and rework underneath goes a long way to help avoid breaking parts, my Y pipe is completely new and rerouted and I have a 1"x1"x6" drag block protecting my slave cylinder.

only reason it rides like shit is because it wasnt done right/poor quality parts.

No I don't find it hard getting around you just have to pay attention more, there are certain spots I can't get in and out of but not many. It actually rides just as good or better then before I dropped it. But I replaced everything underneath suspension wise so I wouldn't have any issues.

$138 a leaf (new), $370 taxes in, new bolts and u-bolts... the pretty black paint on them makes me forget about the money spent. Putting them in this weekend.

I think the big show at A&W is next Thursday...hope to have my truck back together. Two more good nights and it might be.

I finally have it sitting right, 25" at three of the wheel lips and only 1/4" taller at the right rear.
