haha already torn down!
i thought i'd attached these aswell...

anyway, I suck at taking pictures so i don't think i'll bother with a project thread. but for any of you other canada guys thinking of ordering from suicidedoors, UPS wanted $298.85 at the door for brokerage and crap, so you won't get raped too badly getting a backhalf shipped to you, and the front kit was $92.00 at the door when they dropped it off last wednesday.

thanks! I did pay with a cheque but I always do with UPS anyway, I did have the cash when they brought my wheels and would of taken it but said they prefer a cheque so they aren’t held accountable for $300+ cash.

anyway, we started yesterday... it was going well until the rain was too heavy and we stopped for a couple hours.

and now I'm going out to finish cutting out the gastank crossmember, cut the frame rails and start putting the back back together.

A combination of things really... rain, rain, hail, rain, waiting for you to come bodydrop it, rain I was out today so nothing got done although i did pickup some 4g comp power wire so i'm pretty sure i now have everything to finish. i'll get the tank mounted and start plumbing/wireing tomorrow.

Re: Well I guess...

Gibby's in st catharines, I was up there anyway so I called and the guy said $2.00/ft... get there and they cut me 25ft then tell me it's $3.00/ft, I told them he said $2.00 on the phone and at $3.00 I'm not taking it. needless to say I didn't pay $3.00/ft and now have everything to finish!

As for the rain, I'm pretty sure i can shut one end of a large tarp in the passenger door and the other end in the house storm door and have a makeshift tent!

Re: Well I guess...

I got my valves in, I am going to make some sort of bracket though to hold the weight of them to save the tank ports until I get some more fittings to run them separate from the tank.
Spring pockets also got cut last night and I'm out right now, in the rain again, wiring my switchbox... which looks sexy.

Note the 10:30am beer relaxing on the center console and minitruckin mags sitting in the third door

You dont really halfto worrie about that.. tank ports can withstand a Lot of weight for LONG periods of time. The trailer air tanks we have on our trailers at work have ABS and other valves that weight around 20 lbs and we have thrailers that are about 18 years old.

Re: Well I guess...

Almost, I'm going over to Ryan's to molest his truck's spring pockets to make sure I've cut enough (we both run re7's) before I put the front end back together, I need to order 1/8th airline for my pass rear gauge and more fittings for my watertraps, I have to mount and wire my comps (which I'm going out to do after this post) and the kid down the street that's been over almost everyday cus he wants to bag his t100 said he'll clean my wheels . Oh, and that tent failed... but the third design was golden

Re: Well I guess...

Thanks everyone, it's certainly getting there. I still have to put in the SD carrier bearing crossmember... it's sitting in the dining room and the stock one is holding me up in the back, I'm getting dehumped arms tomorrow (ithink), and I have a guy ready to tub the firewall... I'm just not looking forward to relocating everything.
Drag vid will come once I've mounted my trailer balls. It does ride really really nice but I've got 1/2" lines and valves and its ****ing fast.

Re: Well I guess...

I don't mind the 1/2" fills, it just dumps faster than I'm ready for... not that I've had a problem but my tank is between the framerails at the very back and I don't wanna drop too fast and smash the tank. I thought I'd get some plugs and drill holes in them for my dump valves?

The guy tubbing my firewall is some guy that works with my dad, I've never seen his work but a few people say he's really good. unless anybody knows anyone else that could do it?
