So Close
To buying an '00 Xtreme from this place in St. Catherines. 162,000 km and this guy was a supposed "electrical engineer" he hooked up inverter plugs where the tape deck was supposed to be, broken 3rd door handle, burning wire smell, broken A/C, broken tonneau cover piston, brakes were near shot and the steering was wonky. They wanted $8495 for it, wouldn't budge on price.
Now it seems i'll never get one again, until I can afford to buy a private sale as a fun toy |

Re: So Close
Seems high for that amount of damage/work that needs to be fixed and that many KM, I've seen many s-series for that much with less km.

Re: So Close
I have an I4 Colorado Xtreme. I get between 600 and 800km a tank. 64 litre tank, and I run 94 octane. I own/do HPTuners so I have also tweaked it some.
A stock I4 isn't gutless, but with the right mods, you can surpass some I5's. If you want to retain the truck lifestyle, I say go for it. |

Re: So Close
ya gotta do whatcha gotta do man....To me getting ahead in life and saving some money for the future so when I do get my life sorted I can have the things i am gunna want is more important that driving a nice car(or truck). That civic looks pretty clean, so if your buddies giving you a good price on it I'd say go for it.....you'll have plenty of time to get a truck later on.
