I was just wondering if anyone knows the answer. In ONTARIO if you get an open container fine while not in a motor vehicle, and you pay it, does it go on your record or anything? Like can a cop see that when they run your license or anything?

Haha nothing really exciting.
I was camping near Barrie a couple of weekends ago and my Wifes car was parked 3 metres from the camp site and I walked over to the trunk at around midnight to grab my chair from the trunk and I turn around and they were there.
It was like Mr Deeds' butler how he just appears out of nowhere. Anyways, I had an open can in my hand so they gave me a ticket.
Kinda sucked cause I was so close but they had every right to give it to me so I will just suck it up and pay it.
