Re: edmonton and area riders

OK, what are your plans for the summer in regards to meets and are you planing on going out of town for anything. I'ld like to do a little more traveling this summer to meets just to see different trucks and meet different people. Unfortunately, I am not always great at conversation starting so sometimes it's a little hard for me, but I still want to try. Gotta conquer those fears.

The meets used to be pretty good. A lot of the guys are rebuilding still. Hopefully they'll be back in full swing this year.

Hey Darren, the more the merrier. Let me know when you would like some help with your truck, they may be something I could do. I'll have to get a shirt made up or something. Say, what's with the s-series outside the body shop. The black one and the second gen without windows.

I'd at least be up for a cruise around town some time. I rarely get to talk trucks to someone who actually cares. anyone on here have a good looking white extreme stepside that's often parked on 64th ave? it's always right in front of my house and it looks like someone loves it!

Re: edmonton and area riders

I have a pile of parts in my garage right now that i'm putting on before spring. zq8 coils and 2" blocks, intake, trans am wheels with 245/50's, a corvette servo. Also shopping for a supercharger if i can find one for the right price and i'll likely put in a transgo shift kit over the next 6 months. Since i picked up the truck last summer I've swapped in power leather seats and a console and got a used hypertech PP3.

I did mine and I think it only took about 60 square feet. I guess it could have been close to 70 but I barely tapped into the second role.

Not really, but I didn't do it all at once. I did it in steps since I couldn't have my truck down for that long. I think it is somewhat quieter though.

Re: edmonton and area riders

If it hits +10 saturday like they say, anyone want to get together somewhere. It's possible I may have to work but we can see what we can work out. Maybe at Millwooods town center where they usually have the summer meets. Then we can pop into Wendy's for a bite or warm up if it's too cold.

Re: edmonton and area riders

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a used powerdyne S/C kit installed in Edmonton - preferrably around the Southgate area but I don't care too much as long as it's a reputable shop and it won't cost a fortune. I could probably get most of it on myself but I'm not keen on getting the fan off or doing the FMU. thanks for the help!

Since it's getting to look like the snow "might" be gone for good in the next month, I ask when are all the people in the greater calgary area goin to meet up and have so nice cruises. The ricers @beyond.ca forums are planning one for next month and i think we need to represent. Just a thought add and of your own please thanks guys
