ya, i hear ya, i was gonna keep my back bumper like it is cause the full price for the stepshaver kit is a lil high for me, but the paint is cracking bad on the stock parts and i got a wicked deal on these, so i figured instead of getting the stock parts repainted i might as well just buy the stepshavers

Re: Canadian Rides (PICS)

I have been trying to decide on stepshavers or not, I will probably decide once I have run out of other things to do, I was thinking of bagging the front and putting 4" blocks in the back for now.

Nope, I'm in the same boat. Step shavers make the truck look like it's squeezing it's ass cheeks.

Re: Canadian Rides (PICS)

The new project!

got it for $500.00

It's gonna get bagged as well, it'll be my daily.

My other "red" s10 will be getting going again soon now that we have a new house!! with a nice big garage, that's all mine!!!!

Both are sitting quiety, waiting in storage, they'll be at the garage on Monday.

Get my licence back in September and the black sonoma will be ready and done by then and I'll want to go for a tour BADLY!

It'll be almost 4 years since I drove last, I'm going nutty!

Story: Guy who owned it was at my funeral home for family.

I saw it and asked him if it was for sale, he said no. So I asked him to call me when he does.

2 years later I get a call, "my trucks for sale" so I go and see it.

I brought a $500.00 cash deposit with me. He says it needs a new front bearing on the right side, brakes and some tires, but there are good winters on the ZQ8's now!

So, he got a quote for $900.00 to fix the front bearing cause the mechanic said it needed a new hub, bearing and if the spindle got ****ed, then a new spindle.

So he says, "would you give me $500.00 for it? I need it gone cause it's sitting here at my folks and they are tired of looking at it"

My face:

So I got it for $500.00.

thing is, the 2wd's don't have a hub, only a bearing, rotor and spindle, the mechanic quoted him a fix on a 4WD,, What a tool!!

Anyways, I put my old rotor on cause I put drilled on my other truck, new bearings, new brakes, new ext. cab corners, pulled a few dents and put my S-10 front end on it.

I've got another $500.00 in it and it drives mint!!

So, i got a really good deal.

I know, thing is the car was blocked in, and after sitting 4 years it was difficult to push....so we figured since it was only a short distance backwards would be fine....I was worried about the rear bonnet flying open.

Re: Canadian Rides (PICS)

Soooo..I was at my grandma's earlier today and took a couple shots of my babies that have been in storage waaay too long. I've gotta at least get these out and spin them around the block a few times this summer...it's just such a pain cuz theres more cars behind them blocking them, so I gotta resurrect 4 vehicles instead of two to do the job.
Wish I had better pics, cars are dusty, and these are from my cell, but i am just excited to have some new pics of these after not seeing them for like 2 years.

Re: Canadian Rides (PICS)

Just the 3 in my sig, plus the lotus....TR6 is sold, I just haven't updated the sig yet. My dad collects cars, so having too many is pretty much a way of life for us

Having them sit in storage does suck, but paying for insurance on anything other than my truck sucks even worse....So i am stuck driving the truck until my insurance starts to drop a bit....But I love my truck, so thats not too bad.

Re: Canadian Rides (PICS)

not much compared to some of your rides out there...
stretched rear box rockers 2 1/2" to bring them down level(to make a bigger roll pan)
all welded rear gate/lights
stretched hand made roll pan
leds were in the shop for dump trucks-hole saw and a steady grinder hand
total cost $100 for the lights and way too many hours with the mig

Re: Canadian Rides (PICS)

thx guys...this weekend pop locks/latches and send it down the road for an alignment...

Question??? We have a Belltech rear leaf set/3" block/nitro shocks/fab'd urethane bump stop. Still isn't low enough . If we do a small frame notch, does anyone sell a leaf set to drop more than 3"
Just can't afford to bag it for this summer...

Newly done front end. Need opinions though if I should do some sort of grille, or leave as is.

What I did: 94-97 valance mounted on my 02 bumper, McGyver'd plate bracket, opaque clear corners, all painted pewter, graphite painted bowtie.
