TBI fuel and chip setup for S/C

Well, After talking to tbichips.com today I think i am going to go with him over PCM4less.com for my chip. He not only did a great job telling me what he could and would do for my truck he is a really nice guy.

So I told him my concern about running out of fuel on a 2 barrel and the conversation stopped and thought i was a retard. He goes on to tell me i have 42lb injectors, the 350 injectors are 61lbs, the cop car tbi injectors are 68lbs, and 454 injectors are 80lbs and 90lbs. Then he tells me that he has only every used 454 injectors on boosted 350's 2-3 times. He said he doubted i would even need the 68lb injectors. I told him i had 4lbs of boost and he questioned me even putting the 350 injectors on until i told him the cam setup etc. So he goes on to tell me that between the 61-68lbs injectors i wouldn't have any problem with AT LEAST 10lbs of boost. On top of this he said he has a company that will machine the stock TBI's to 46mm 50mm etc etc from the 42mm stock for like $150 or so.

He had a built 350 with vortech heads cam etc 8lbs of boost and was running 68lbs injectors on a full size truck and said he wasen't even out of pulse on that.

Now the problem he said is the map sensor, its a 1 bar and can't be easily if at all upgraded to a 2 bar. He said what he has to do it set it up to run a different fuel curve onces it reaches max boost it can read which is 1-2lbs of boost then he said he sets it up for fueling max boost which leaves it running a little rich in the lower rpm with low boost. But he went on to tell me his truck had no problems and didn't smoke or anything like that just a hair rich and said it still got 20+ MPG.

Now he did tell me i needed a better fuel pump, he was going to have it setup for the fuel pump to create enough presure to cancel out the boost presure on the injectors and said the way the TBI's work it naturaly increases fuel pressure with boost at 1:1, but said if i had trouble smoothing out the low rpm low boost rich thing it would be worked out with a 1:1 external fuel pressure regulator/FMU which is what pcm4less said also. So now i'm starting to think the ol TBI might be able to pull off even more then i thought.

So now i guess i'm a 160 dollar chip, a 100 dollar fuel pump, 350 LM1 and some sort of valve covers away from testing all this out. So TBI guys don't loose faith yet sounds like we might still have a fighting chance at some pretty good boost on TBI.

Look into the MSD inline fuel pump, they're cheap ($100) and made for pushing high PSI for boost. Its ultra easy to setup too.

I have been kinda looking at pumps figure it probably on the needs to be done asap list and so far i have come up with the FPG006 from www.apeusa.com I haven't figured out which MSD pump would work yet.
